Only four more days until we finish this section on the Battle of Waterloo. One of my favorite things about reading these chapters has been trying to find artwork to go along with the quotes I’ve posted on Twitter. Thanks for the pictures! It all looks so huge chaotic which is definitely in keeping with Hugo’s descriptions in the book. While I don’t love the descriptions of the actual fighting, I do think what Hugo is saying about this being a watershed moment in European history is interesting.
I’m enjoying linking art work to the various sections as well. Waterloo has been one of the easier sections to find appropriate images for.
