CLASSROOM FUNDAMENTALS

1.  I teach when there are no distractions.

2.  I listen to one person at a time.

3.  I listen to people who speak in a calm, positive manner.

4.  I assist students in changing behavior that is disrespectful, destructive or negative.

5.  I assist students in being prepared and ready to do their best.

 CLASSROOM POLICIES

1.  You are welcome to use the restroom and drinking fountain in between classes.

2.  You will each get your own locker space to share with another student, but you may store some of your things in your desk temporarily during class.

3.  You are welcome to talk and move around before the second bell rings.

 TEXTBOOKS

Please record the condition of your textbooks on the appropriate form and have your parents sign it.  Be as specific as you can with your descriptions.  Comments like "Good," "Fine," or "Some writing inside," are not very helpful at the end of the year.  Any damage to your books that is not recorded on these forms is your responsibility.

I will check all of the textbooks for covers next week.

ASSIGNMENTS

1.  I accept overnight assignments that are in cursive or typed.

2.  I will grade all assignments written on paper that has smooth edges, that is, without "fringes."

3.  I give full credit for assignments that are neat, complete, and on time.

4.  I accept all assignments that are headed in the upper right hand corner in the following manner:

           Assignment/Page Number

 GRADING

The grading scale for All Saints School is as follows:

 A........94-100

B........85-93

C........73-84

D........64-72

F........63 and below

Your grade in my classes will be determined in the following way:

Behavior........................180 pts/quarter

Overnight Work..................4 pts each

Test/Projects...................50 pts each

Rubrics..........................100 pts each
