The Seeing Stone by Mr. Senger (an early draft)

Middle Earth is a place that is always changing, yet is ever the same. As a wanderer on the Road of Life, you want to be sure not to get lost. Middle Earth can help you keep on the right path. Here are the different areas of Middle Earth:

·         News from Bree - Old Barliman Butterbur, the innkeeper of the Prancing Pony, always knows what's going on in Middle Earth. Check here to find out what's new.

·         Links of Forgotten Lore - Here you will find information from the wise ones of Middle Earth: Gandalf, Elrond, and even Bilbo Baggins.

·         The List – Adventure awaits, if you will only answer the call.

·         The Deep Magic – There is only the Deep Magic. All else is a pale imitation.

·         Quests – Every quest leads to growth.

·         Messages - Even though you wander, you are not alone. Ask questions or send interesting messages whenever you need to.

Middle Earth is the setting for J.R.R. Tolkien's books The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion. Many of the names and graphics for this site relate to those books. If you haven't read any of Tolkien's works yet, stop reading this, go buy The Lord of the Rings and begin reading now!

This site looks best when viewed at 800x600 resolution and with the TOLKIEN font installed. Download the TOLKIEN font (42k) here.

The graphic at the top of this page is from a painting of Gandalf the Grey by John Howe.
The background sound is "Concerning Hobbits"  by Howard Shore  from the movie The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.
