The 2024 Fantasy Classics Chapter-a-Day Read-along<\/a> begins in just a couple of days and it\u2019s time to get ready to enter our first fantastical world, the enchanted land of Narnia. I hope you’ve been able to track down a copy of The Chronicles of Narnia<\/em> either in the single volume edition<\/a> or as a box set of individual books<\/a>.<\/p>\n Our journey to Narnia begins with The Magician’s Nephew<\/em>, a prelude to the series that unveils the origins of Narnia and sets the stage for the rest of the series. As we read chapter by chapter each day together, I encourage you to not only appreciate in the magic of Lewis’ storytelling, but also to explore the layers of Christian symbolism woven throughout the narrative.<\/p>\n Remember that in order to fit all our books in this year, we will be reading the first two chapters<\/strong> of The Magician’s Nephew<\/em> on January 1st. This will also happen with the next four books of the Narnia series. It’s easy to stay on schedule by using the 2024 Fantasy Classics Chapter-a-Day Reading Schedule<\/a>. But remember, if you get behind or ahead, no worries!<\/p>\n Also, I will be posting a quote each day from the current chapter on Instagram<\/a>, Facebook<\/a>, and X (formerly known as Twitter)<\/a> using the hashtag #FantasyReadalong.
