The British Book Challenge<\/a>\u00a0is back again this\u00a0 year, hosted by Chelley at Tales of Yesterday<\/a>. I read a lot of British classics, so it was easy to decide to participate. Here are the details:<\/p>\n

The British Books Challenge is a reading challenge that will be running here on Tales Of Yesterday between 1st January 2018 to 31st December 2018 and the main focus of the challenge is reading and reviewing books by British authors.<\/p>\n

This challenge is available for all bloggers and\/or booktubers who review books on their blogs, YouTube channels or readers who review on other websites such as Goodreads.<\/p>\n

If you sign up for the challenge you will be aiming to read at least 12 books by British authors (which works out to one a month).<\/p>\n

For every book you review each month you will get an entry into the draw to win a monthly prize pack (assuming that you\u2019ve left all appropriate links on the monthly link page!). Therefore the more you review the more chances you have at winning that month\u2019s prize(s).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In 2017 I aimed for 13 books, and in 2018 I’m going to try and reach 15. Here are my planned titles to read:<\/p>\n

  9. Rumpole and the Golden Thread<\/em> by John Mortimer<\/li>\n
  10. A Morbid Taste for Bones<\/em> by Ellis Peters<\/li>\n
  11. One Corpse Too Many<\/em> by Ellis Peters<\/li>\n
  12. Lord Peter Views the Body<\/em> by Dorothy Sayers<\/li>\n
  13. Ivanhoe<\/em> by Sir Walter Scott<\/li>\n
  14. The Black Arrow<\/em> by Robert Louis Stevenson<\/li>\n
  15. Brideshead Revisited<\/em> by Evelyn Waugh<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
