I keep veering back and forth between different kinds of books, trying to keep up with my insatiable hunger for knowledge. Here&#8217;s what I&#8217;m reading:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0140449493\/nickslists-20\"><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Ethics<\/span>, Book I<\/a> by Aristotle<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0451525140\/nickslists-20\"><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Wise Blood<\/span><\/a> by Flannery O&#8217;Connor<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/1594865132\/nickslists-20\"><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">The Intellectual Devotional<\/span><\/a> edited by David S. Kidder and Noah D. Oppenheim<\/li>\n<li><a style=\"font-style: italic;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0316010669\/nickslists-20\">Blink<\/a> by Malcolm Gladwell<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0307238032\/nickslists-20\"><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Get a Freelance Life<\/span><\/a> by Margit Feury Ragland<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/1933338008\/nickslists-20\"><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">The Renegade Writer<\/span><\/a> by Linda Formichelli and Diana Burrell<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I&#8217;m in the middle of all of them at the same time, and I don&#8217;t like it. I don&#8217;t mind reading two or even three books at a time, but six is too many, and I haven&#8217;t even mentioned <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">The Liturgy of the Hours<\/span>, which is my daily prayer book. And I&#8217;m also listening to an unabridged audio recording of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/1402563426?tag=nickslists-20&amp;creative=9325&amp;camp=211189&amp;link_code=as2&amp;creativeASIN=1402563426\"><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Don Quixote<\/span><\/a> during my commute. It&#8217;s out of control.<\/p>\n<p>So I&#8217;m either going to have to finish a couple of them soon, or I&#8217;m going to have to set some aside. <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">The Liturgy of the Hours<\/span> and <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">The Intellectual Devotional<\/span> don&#8217;t really count, since those are meant to be read daily, but I have to do something about the others.<\/p>\n<p>The problem is that they&#8217;re all just so <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">good<\/span>.
