Nonfiction November has been very good to me for book recommendations. The following six books were the most interesting books I came across this past month as I tried to keep up with all the posts and comments from everyone who participated:<\/p>\n

  1. The Prestige<\/em><\/a> by Christopher Priest – Recommended by Katherine at The Writerly Reader<\/a>\u00a0(I’ve actually read this since reading Katherine’s recommedation and can attest to how good it is. I’ll be posting a review soon.)<\/li>\n
  2. The Nine: Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court<\/em><\/a> by Jeffrey Toobin – Recommended by JoAnn at Lakeside Musing<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Worlds Elsewhere: Journeys Around Shakespeare’s Globe<\/em><\/a> by Andrew Dickson – Recommended by Lory at The Emerald City Book Review<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. The Book: A Cover-to-Cover Exploration of the Most Powerful Object of Our Time<\/em><\/a> by Keith Houston from Louise\u00a0at <\/a>Lone Star on a Lark<\/a><\/li>\n
  5. As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride<\/em><\/a> by Cary Elwes from Sharlene at <\/a>Real Life Reading<\/a><\/li>\n
  6. Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption<\/em><\/a> by Bryan Stevenson from JoAnn at <\/a>Lakeside Musing<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Nonfiction November 2016 is my first online reading event, and it has gone better than I ever expected. I learned about some great books, got to meet some wonderful readers, and found some new blogs to add to my rss reader.
