What nonfiction book have you recommended the most? What is one topic or type of nonfiction you haven\u2019t read enough of yet? What are you hoping to get out of participating in Nonfiction November?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What was your favorite nonfiction read of the year?<\/h4>\n

Definitely Contemplating the Trinity<\/em><\/a> by Fr. Raniero Cantalamessa. Not only was it one of my favorite nonfiction books, it was one of my overall favorites this year. It was also invaluable to me as I was writing my homily for Trinity Sunday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What nonfiction books have you recommended the most?<\/h4>\n

Three books that I am constantly telling people about are Making Sense Out of Suffering<\/em><\/a> by Peter Kreeft, The Rhythm of Life<\/a><\/em> by Matthew Kelly and Challenge: A Daily Meditation Program Based on the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius<\/em><\/a> by Mark Link, SJ. All three are life-changing books and are worth reading and rereading.<\/p>\n

What is one topic or type of nonfiction you haven’t read enough of yet?<\/h4>\n

I earned an undergraduate history degree once upon a time, but I haven’t read much history since then. Some of the history books languishing in my Kindle library include The Discoverers<\/em><\/a> by Daniel Boorstin, Life in a Medieval Castle<\/em><\/a> by Joseph and Frances Gies, and Nelson: The Essential Hero<\/em><\/a> by Ernle Bradford.<\/p>\n

What are you hoping to get out of participating in Nonfiction November?<\/h4>\n
