Animal Farm

This book is a very good satire.  It really makes you think about how people are governing your own life.  If you liked Fahrenheit 451, you will like this as well.  Kaylie P.

A brilliant book about our grim future.  Tucker C.

This was a pretty good book.  In it, the animals of Manor Farm take over and kick the owner of the farm out.  In their new farm, run and maintained by animals alone, all animals are created equal...well, almost equal.  Robin B.

Animal Farm was kind of a scary story because it points out all the flaws in humanity.  It's a really good book.  Read it.  Jack D.

This book is one of my favorites.  It's perfect for people who don't enjoy "really heavy fantasy."  Don't let the slow start throw you.  Keep on reading and you'll get hooked.  Chris L.

This book was very interesting.  It was one of those books that it takes awhile to get.  It had a background theme to it.  It was almost like communism.  The pigs were like Hitler and trying to persuade the people to believe in the wrong thing.  I didn't like this story as much as I thought I would.  Madie P.

Nineteen Eighty-Four

This negative utopia is about one man's rebellion against his government, and was a prediction of the future (it was written in 1948).  It is a bit depressing, but exciting.  The idea portrayed by 1984 is really interesting, especially if you like other dystopias.  Annie M.

It was a really good book.  I would recommend it.  The beginning is boring but the end is excellent.  Molly R.

I thought this was a good, exciting book.  It made me keep reading until I found out what happened at the end.  Mike S.

I guess this was a good book.  It probably deserves to be a classic but it was depressing, pessimistic and boring.  I really did not like it. All I can say is that it is a good warning of a corrupt society.  Ursa W.
