It was an okay book. It had some very exciting parts and a
good plot. It was a little scary, but not too much. If you like
really dark stories read the rest of this series. Katherine D.

This book is one of the best books in the Dark is Rising
Series. It is slow going at first but builds to a suspenseful
climax. And brings a mysterious shadow that lurks in the book as
